Every time I try and use a brush in photoshop, it acts as an air brush. The pressure seems to control the opacity, (i use a tablet), even though I have that disabled. The brush also isn't as smooth as it normally is. help?

Its got to be a setting. One of two things.
The enable airbrush mode circled in red, or a setting in the brush tab.
You can also try resetting brush presets to basic brushes to get back regular functionality.
