Hey guys
My question is simple: How can I duplicate a selection on the same layer(note that I dont want the selected pixels to be duplicated. Only the selection)

Welcome to the forum s_marcell. Select>Duplicate.
I don't have PS open, but I think that's the command (apologies if not).
