Hey,

Really hope someone can help me out with this.

Hypothetically there are 2 layers, both with a hand drawn path as a vector mask with a color fill. The paths are overlapping.

Now I want to exclude one path from the other path. I know this is possible when you draw a new path into an existing path, but is it also possible when 2 paths are already drawn in 2 seperate layers?

Go to the paths palette, select the path that you want to delete from the other path. Ctrl+C to copy, select the other path Ctrl+V to paste. Both paths are now together. With the path select tool, select the path that you want to deduct from the other.

On the tool bar options select Subtract from Shape Layer.
