Just the tablet with the usb cord. It was only $5 so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Does it work or do I need a pen or something to go with it? I'd appreciate any help.
I'll come back and post the exact model type it is.
Thank you. |

It's a pen tablet so yes you need the pen to go with it. I'm sure you can buy one from Wacom.
They also come with a mouse when you buy a new one, but I don't quite see the point of a mouse. I have never used mine. |

Thanks for the reply. I checked out what kind I bought and it's the Wacom Intuos2 tablet. It's from 2002 I think.
The pen is sold by itself for around 40-50$
Is it worth using or should I just chuck it? I don't have a driver cd. Is there a way I can install it without it? |

If you are serious about Photoshop a Wacom is essential IMO. You should be able to download the drivers from Wacom. The problem is, you might invest in a pen and then find out that the tablet doesn't work. They are extremely reliable and seldom ever break, but it's still is a possibility.
You could borrow one, if you know someone who has a Wacom, just to test it. |
