PS7 and photo showing. Suddenly a blue line about 1mm appears across a picture and full width of monitor. Tools have no effect on it. Records on cd but doesn't show on a print.
This only happened twice in many uses of PS. Think accidently hit a key when doing something other.
Using OS of ME. Any ideas about it please ? |

I agree, has to be a guideline. Go to your Arrow tool and hover over the Line. The icon should change to a up & down arrow ( or side to side depending on orientation) , then click, hold and drag it off the page.
Or go to your Edit> Preferences> Guides & Grids and change the color of your guides. If that line changes to that same color then its a guide line for sure. |

Thanks Witam and nwar. I've not yet had time to try suggested things. When it happened line seemed to be superimposed on image. Will tell you results. Tykzy. |

Ctrl+H to hide it or goto View>Clear Guides you could also... turn on rule (Ctrl+R) and then use the move tool (V) to drag it back to the rule. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

Thanks alsothehermit for info. I know of using Guide Lines. Nothing moves the line. It's only happened twice. Records on to cd, doesn't show on a print.
On one is level with pic top. On other is across pic.
Could be error in PS or OS of ME. I'll just hope it never shows again. Gerald. |

Could be a slice maybe?
Try going to View -> Show -> None
See if that has any effect on it. _________________ Best Regards,

Also make sure you have not locked the guidelines (seems most likely still). _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
