Hello,

Does anybody know how to create an effect such as the one below...

I'm interested in the banding effect which occurs on televisions and wondered if there was a way I could apply this to other images.

Many thanks!
Phil

Its just a scanline tutorial with a bit of tweaking. Make a new canvas 1x3 pixels fill the top and bottom with black and leave the middle pixel blank or white. Define a pattern. You can obviously tweak the dimensions of the canvas to get the result you want.

If you go to Adobe action exchange http://share.studio.adobe.com/axBrowseProductType.asp?t=5
you will find quite a few actions for producing a TV effect, you have to register to download (it's free) and there are some great actions there. Wayne
