Greetings folks,, Since Adobe cust service isn't open "till Monday I have a question.

I have a full version of CS4, I lost a drive on my computer,, so I replaced the drive,, and tried to install CS4 again. The install looked to go smoothly,, BUT the first time I quit then went back in it said the Key was no good. It had a link to click,, But it took me to a page telling me I needed to upgrade to CS5,, for $600 bucks.

Anyone run into this?

Guessing it has something to do with Adobe believing your product key is still in use due to not being able to uninstall your old copy.

You probably will have to wait until Monday to sort it out at their end.

hi,
that maybe what you need to do...
call adobe,,
now ilooked around and found here..

how one person had a similar issue with cs2... andhe had solution that worked for him .. also read some of the other posts after that there maybe some info that pertinent to your issue...
