Quick question.
For example I want to use the single column marquee tool, so I navigate my mouse to select the "single column marquee" from the fly out menu.
My annoyance is that if I use another tool and then go back to my marquee tool via short cut keys "m", that the marquee tool defaults back to "rectangular marquee tool". So if I have to navigate back to the marquee tool and re-select the "single column marquee" option, defeating my use of the short cut key all together.
Anyone know any work around for this ? |

There is no preset shortcut for that tool. If it's something you use often enough to justify a special shortcut you create your own. Go to Edit-Keyboard Shortcuts and assign a new shortcut to the tool. |

Oh look at you, that's fantastic.
Seems like they have provisioned shortcut keys for most fly-out options by assigning the initial tools shortcut key,
however I noticed that the marquee and pen tool were lacking in complete shortcut key options.
Thanks again Hawkeye. |
