Hi,
When we need to send files many times our files maybe too big for your email service to accept and that when need to have another way of sending out large files. there several sites that are either file sharing site or a form of email service type... but what they have in common is that you canup load very large files...!!!! anywhere from 50 meg to 2 gigs worth!!! just a matter to pick one that you fit your requirements..
here my short list... i'll use different one depending on what i need to do..
anyway...
1. these are free file share sites.. thier free no registration required and simple to use...
a. general files-- http://www.senduit.com/
b. general files-- http://wikisend.com/
c. this one i use for graphics ..
http://www.pixentral.com/
2. for email that large attachments that your regular isp email provider can't handle...
a. https://www.transferbigfiles.com/
b. https://www.wetransfer.com/
c. http://www.mailbigfile.com/
d. https://www.yousendit.com/ |

I use Dropbox Free and essentially, accepted as not 'unusual' by most other photographers. (I'm sure I should take this opportunity to ask you to sign up to increase my limit, but I won't)
2gig limit but, ideal for placing into public/private folders and pass-wording if needed, simple interface, no brainer. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

This is good info. I'm a bit pushed for time at the moment, so I'm not gonna check these out straight away, but if it helps you to have signed up others, let me know and I'll oblige if I do sign up. |
