Okay,
Is there anything, anything at all, that anybody can suggest that will make 3d repousse work on my pc.
I know that the problem is open gl, and i've actually tried three or four different video cards to try to remedy that. I've also bought a laptop which apparently also doesn't support open gl. I'm starting to think that open gl might be like unicorns and only exist in the minds of other people.
I know this all sounds nuts, but i want 3d repousse so bad.
I will buy another video card if somebody can suggest one that will DEFINATELY do this particular function.
I've also tried updating video display driver, but not updating BIOS. Well maybe I did, I cannot remember. I've done so much.

hi,
not sure what you done so i maybe suggesting you already did.....
well need to check a couple of things...
1. see if your card support shader 3.0 and opengl 2.0 although card maysupport opengl, the version a lot of time is important... ps requires it according it system requirements..

2. iknow on my system, and the card has shader and opengl, by default the open gl is turn off so you nee to go into your graphic card setting and make sure it on.... and then in your ps go to preferences>performance and make sure opengl drawing is enabled... there a checkbox to check....

not sure if you need to reboot but it would not hurt after you make those changes and see what happens..
