I am in the process of building a new pc specifically for photoshop, can anyone tell me if I will have any issues installing cs5 on the new rig when the same install is on my old one?

Thanx in advance

No problem at all. Think the same is true for OSX too, just in case. I presume the nub of your question is about the licensing on multiple computers?

hi,
it would be nice to know the details of what your putting to gethe and also what you upgrading from ..r... it would be easier to address..

however... at this point, in general, there shouldn't be any problems.

just to give you an idea I have i7 3.2g, 9g ram, nvdea gts450 .. installation went fine no problems and no serious issues after that...

you may want to check cs5 system requirements to make sure. for example your graphic card if it has shader and opengl ...

also if win7 64 , ps 64 bits... some plugins may not work.. I ran into that with one of my favorite plugin.. i could only use it with the 32 bit ps
note: when i install pc5 it install botht the 32bit and 64 bit version ... so end up going back and forth when i needed to use that plugin..

on lic.. it always been my understanding you could install cs5 on 2 or more providing they were your pc's. but i went checking... it was sort hard finding...
found this..... there appears to be a quote to where you can install on two....
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/949777?start=0&tstart=0

also there could be a problem if ps with the same serial number if installed on tooooo many computers however I don't see that issue in you post.. if there questions about multible pc...(more than 2) i suggest contact ps
