Bit of sad news personally, it may be a little nostalgic, but I have loads of Kodak memories tucked away in suitcases of events from the 70's onwards, from embarrassing Oxford boating blazers (ahemm all the rage in the 70's!) to feeding goats (don't ask). All shot in glorious kodachrome.
Ahh well the digital revolution marches steadily on.
I think this link will probably lead to the most played song of the day
A fitting tribute

hi thehermit,
I wouldn't count kodak yet.. although the main company file bankruptcy, they have other properties that are profitable I think will work as base line to get the rest of the company back in good shape... at least I hope so .. |

As far as I know Kodak produces digital cameras which should help keep them afloat , even if they stop producing camera film, photo printers will still use their paper to print photos, so I don't think they are kaput yet.
Personally, before converting to digital photography, I left Kodak film/printing and converted to Fijifilm as their colors are more vivid and they gave out a free film for every 30+ photos printed ( in this country at least) |
