hi,
well the top one looks like just a good shot... i don't see a lot photoshopping in it...
the 2nd from top really looks like just alittle saturation and brightness and contrast...
3rd from the top... black and white...
if it was color to begine with they probably desaturated or added a black and white adjustment layer , added a curve adjustmen or contrast/brightnese adj layer .... bring it out more... there many tutorials avail and this is one list
http://www.photoshop-pack.com/details/Dramatic_Black_and_White_Photos/5751
the last one.... sort of reminds me of a hdr or tone mapping... now hdr generally requires several shots at different setting but one can simulate hdr with a single image... below is a tutorial for that
http://dylancolon.wordpress.com/2011/02/08/photoshop-tutorial-single-image-hdr/
there are plugin that makes the process a lot easier... |

The bottom image looks a lot like another cross processed shot and the others pretty much what jerry intimates. Top image might have a little channel tweaking or again a weak cross process. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |

The top image appears to have a soft vignette around it. The third one has really high contrast. Hope that helps! Sometimes you just have to mess around a bit. |
