Hello everybody, Happy New Year!

Is it possible to draw a shape and then to "clone" it in order to construct, letīs say a radial array (like in AutoCad)?
I need to draw 12 equal-spaced circles of the same diameter. Their centers should follow the path of a bigger semicircle.
Would you please help me with this?
Thanks.

hi,
i don't know if this is what you after...
but how about this...

create a 26 point vector star using custom shape and the trapaziode

your only goingto be using the upper half...

then on each point you can put a circle of giving size... at the end of each point....

if there isn't a circle brush in your brush sets... make your own circle brush..

at the end you would have 13 circles in a cimicircle curve...

For a radial array, use a simple transform command (Ctrl+T) all you have to do is move the pivot point of the transform outside of the bounding box. As far as I know this only works on raster objects, not shapes and the like.

For making a complicated shape such as a star I would stroke a path with the shape required.

I used the 26 points star.
All the best.
