How Do you do this ive used tutorials and they didnt work my image i was blending turned out red..

make sure the layer you want to blend out is on the top. Hightlight that layer in the layers pallet, hit the second button from the left at the bottom. That creates your layer mask. Then get your airbrush or pencil (I like the airbrush) and start painting on the mask. You can take away or ad to the mask depending if your foreground color is black or white. A nice trick is the change the pressure on the airbrush to say 20% this gives you a nice feathery feel.

OK..this may take a while. Go to File and open your first image the one with you holding the football. Know go to File> Place. a screen will open > Then find the next image you want to blend with your orignal picture. and Place it. Now go to Window> Hide or Show Layers. this should pop up the Layers Pallet. and you should have 2 layers at this piont. By clicking and unclicking on the "Eye" next the layer you can hide it from view. Are you with me on this so far??????
