I have suddenly run into a problem in uploading images as attachments.
I get a message telling me that the file has a fault and will not be loaded.
When I examine the reason I am told that is that the file is empty and 0 bites.
I do nothing different to previously in manipulating in photoshop and some images will mount.
Has anyone come across this problem? Any suggestions please?
I have tried three browsers so the fault does not appear to be in Safari. |

Maybe the file actually has a fault and can't be loaded?
What specific method are you using to upload (do you mean that you right click and say 'Save as', or is it a 'download' button on somebody's website)? Or because you say 'attachments' are you trying to open something which is in an email?
I'd suggest you split this into two problems.
Problem 1 is to acquire the files and save them somewhere in a folder on your hard disk. This step doesn't involve Photoshop, if I understand the problem correctly.
Problem 2 is to use Photoshop to do what you want to do to these files. This is the problem for which this forum is best able to help you.
I hope you are able to get your files. |

Thank you for replying. I am afraid I did not make my problem clear enough.
I have been uploading file attachments to hotmail for years exchanging images with other wild life photographers.
I have not changed my file processing in as much I always take the photoshop psd file, downsize to 1024 x 768 and save as a jpg.
Suddenly random files are not loading, hotmail informing me the file is faulty and contains 0 bytes.
The identical file can be uploaded to my web site and to International Competition web site also to Flickr sites which does not make sense, to me at least!
I have tried asking Hotmail with no response.
I would be grateful for any ideas on how to solve/pursue this problem. |
