I'm trying to make lots of trees in plan view. I use the move tool and hold the alt button. When I drag each tree, it gets copied in a new layer each.
Is there a way to copy past trees in a single layer? I have to eventually merge all the layers into one. |

Make a selection of the source tree before Alt-moving.
It's called "floating selection"... |
