Hi, I need help. I just wrapped up a book with a few pictures in it. Unfortunately, my publisher told me that although the pictures are the proper dpi (300), they are still rather blurry and I need to sharpen them up somewhat. How can/do I do this on photoshop? The program has "blur" options but I can't find anything similar for "sharpness". I assume if Ps has blur capabilities it must have sharpness capabilities as well.

For what it's worth, the pictures were sent to the publisher as .tif files and my publisher's graphic designers appear to be worthless, although I can't exactly tell them this!

Please help!

Thanks in advance.

I recommend using Smart Sharpen.

Thanks for the advice. The publisher (thankfully) decided to deal with the redrawings on their own. So much for their faith in me lol!

But thanks for the advice, nevertheless. I'm still figuring Ps out.

ALSO to Patrick: apologies for the double post. I wasn't exactly sure where to really post, so better safe than sorry.
