great place this is. Ive been lurking for a while actually all weekend reading and taking in all this wonderful information. I have a question this might belong in elsewhere but it is web related. Lately I've seen a trend in websites that use these detoriating backgrounds or headers. Can anyone tell me how these images are made in Photoshop? Here are a couple of examples. I'm intrested in the rotting edges spackle effect. I dont know what else to call it.
Thanks in advance and I look foward to reading and learning more with your help.

well spackle effect and what not cvan be found on websites like http://good-tutorials.com simply search for it.... these effects are mostly done with brushes, custom sometimes, and also dont with filter-noise-add noise in some ways... search good tutorials to find out how to get that effect. its rather easy _________________ http://i337m1k3.deviantart.com for my ART Profile. |
