Hi,
here's my problem:
I'm trying to get my HP OfficeJet 6000 printer to print CMYK-colors pure.
When I print directly from Photoshop, there's no problem at all,
even thou my printer is (obviously) a RGB-printer.
I usually have Coated fogra39 as working cmyk, but also no ICC profile works fine.
I've saved the picture as photoshop PDF (no conversion in colors-tab) from both embedded ICC and no ICC, an still it works fine when printed FROM PS (Let PS determine colors + FOGRA39).
BUT:If I open this PDF with Acrobat Reader (as anyone without PS would do) and print it (i have crossed "preserve CMYK primaries" in advanded tab you get in print preview, others are non-checked)
the print is all messed up, there is black dots in magenta etc. (this is the same problem i get if I ever convert the working CMYK to adobe RGB before printing)
I'm guessing it's because in Acrobat there is no "Let Acrobat determine colors".. but I have no idea what i could do about it.
I have checked, that my acrobat color management profile is the same than in PS.
Have any of you had this kind of problem before and how did you fix it?
I've tried to think where's the problem exactly, but i think i don't understand enough PDF format to make a decent .pdf or then the problem is in printing with Acrobat.
Thanks for anything that could be helpful! |
