Good Day Folks,
I'm brand new to this forum.
I've decided to take the next step into the world of photograph manipulation. I currently have Elements 6 and am ready to jump to CS5+. Adobe offers an inexpensive upgrade, but I am wary.
Should I do a new install or an upgrade?
Has anyone upgraded from E6 to CS5? Were the results favorable? Any problems I should watch out for?

I'm running Vista Home Premium on a pretty good Dell laptop. I'm letting Windows7 mature a bit more before I go there.

Thanks in Advance for the Time!

Why are you wary of the upgrade? As long as the product you have is listed as being valid to upgrade from, then you might as well save some money?

I haven't upgraded from Elements, but I did upgrade from CS2 (educational version) to CS5 (full version) and had no trouble at all.

I can't comment on upgrading Windows, but I've also had no trouble with Windows 7 (new installation) compared to previous versions.

Hope it all works for you.

Thanks renata.
The PE6 manual and the software didn't jibe when I installed it; and in the two tutorials I went thru, there were discrepancies in the material or the software-who knows.

Thanks for your input.

Tim
