I've been told you can create a favorite icon in 16 pixels x 16 pixels size and with some simple code, a webpage will load that icon and use it in the address bar next to the address and in the favorites section next to the link to the website.
The problem I see is how to reduce a picture to 16x16 pixels. Can anyone tell me how to do that with photoshop? I've tried using the adjust image size and all I get is a grainy picture. I've tried creating a new canvas in that size but as soon as I type one letter in the text section to look at how it will look, it's nothing but a faded and blury letter that you can't make out.
Any suggestions on this one? Everyone has been so helpful on my other two posts, I'm sure someone can point me in the right direction. I'm uploading the logo so it's available to see and be edited if someone is so inclined.
Thanks again to all of you.
John

ya that wont come out clear
it works on my site, with 2 letters here
it works on sum pages, and u have to have it converted to a .fav file or something.. google it "favorites icon creator" or something
so start out with a 16 by 16 px, then zoom in to 500% or something percent, then work from that and keep zooming to "actual pixels"

if you do a search on the forums you'll find some good questions and answers for favicon.
I think hermit posted a link to a plugin for PS to be able to create icon files. So it's definately worth the search
