Hello there..

I have an icon in the follwing link. I want to change its color to red. I don't want to use magic wand, creating a new layer because it is time consuming. I have limited time...

What is the most practical way to do this....

Any of the Hue/Sat type adjustments with a mask for the rubber etc. Welcome to the forum. Shouldn't take you long :) I mean you could do it in curves or a host of ways it's tough to call just one method.

Hey,
if your downloading this Icon, then it's simple cause its a vector file and you can change it in illustrator, but if you wanna take a screen shot then you have to do it in photoshop, Now, there are few ways of doing it, there is Hue and Saturation, Selective Colors, and you'll have to make a layer mask to brush it in..

Hope this helped

here are ways.

Make a curve adjustment layer.(Layer>New adjustment layer>Curve)

Make a selective color adjustment layer.(Layer>New adjustment layer>Selective color)

Make a hue/saturation adjustment layer.(Layer>New adjustment layer>Hue/Saturation)
