I am having a new problem printing from CS4 that just started today.
In some of my documents when I try and print I get this message:
"Before you can perform printer related tasks such as page set up or printing a document, you need to intall a printer."

I have re-installed the printer, I have deleted PSCS4 prefs file.

The weird thing: I CAN print SOME PS files. For instance if I open up a random picture in PS and try and print it works just fine. The problem arises when I try to print something full page. USUALLY I would get a message saying something about the image being larger than the printable area do you want to proceed. Today it's just asking me to install a printer.

I can print from every other program and even a test page from the printer set up.

I'm running Windows 7.

Any ideas?
Leslie

Did anyone ever help you with this problem? I'm having the exact same problem with only 2 files. I can print every other file I open in Photoshop accept for these 2 covers I'm working on and they both have some of the same layers in them.

I'm using Windows XP. I've tried everything also. Can't get them to print.

Anyone know how to fix this? My thought is it has to be something in my files. I really don't want to have to recreate these again. I was able to do a Save As and save it as a PDF. Then print from the pdf but I don't think the colors came out as bright as from Photoshop.
