I am trying to lean how to use layers and separate artwork for different screens for t-shirt printing; but it's all greek to me!
I looked at my tutorials on the disk and can't make heads or tails of it.
It seemed to me that I might've been using the wrong program, so I tried in Illustrator..
I know copy and paste to manipulate pieces of the artwork..but when I tried in Illustrator, I went to "outline" view to see if that would help, but the underlying layer(s) were blank (?!).
I tried using Copy and Paste and paste after 'Selecting' the object, my opened artwork, to make a new editable layer, but what to do when the Error Message says "Selected Area is empty'??!!
