Hi,
I had CS3 in my PC. Then I got a bad virus and had to convert the computer back to its factory state. I had backed up all of my programs. I reinstalled the programs but it is telling me to re-run the Photoshop disc I initially used. I no longer have this disc. Is there another way that you know of how to get this working? My back up is on my external harddrive and it doesn't run directly from that now either but it used to before I restored the PC.
I really need Photoshop up and running asap. I appreciate any help you can offer :-) TY |

The only thing that might work is by reinstalling it on the external.
It will be a registry issue causing the prompt to run the disk.
By installing it to a different location any registry entry that corresponded to the old program will be useless.
Run from the same directory listing as it used to be.
There is no guarantee, as the hard drive has probably been wiped considerably. |
