I personally don't like either.
The first one, I can barely see what's happening, the text color doesn't go well with the rest of it and it's just like floating there. All it appears that you did is cram a bunch of images together, change the opacities and add some text.
Second one has nothing to do with pool, text problems are the same as before, the eye is also not that great, it doesn't really stand out to me.

The first one looks alright. A bit too dark, but not a bad start. Some tweaking and you could have a nice signature there.
The second one I like - What can I say, I'm a sucker for blue. The red in the eye is a bit rigid, try to blend that a bit. The background and text needs some blending too. It's all very rigid.
Overall, a very nice start.
