Hi everyone I am just learning how to utilize layers within photoshop 7.0. I have a saved image in .psd format. Within that image I have a text layer that I need to move/modify. On the pallete it is showing a combined layer and a text layer. I cannot get to just moving or modifying the text layer. The mode that I am editing in is RGB....Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks in advance..

Jay

Select the text layer and then select the move tool to move the text layer. Then select the text tool to edit the text. Can you post an image of your layers pallette if that doesnt work?

Ok, That's what I thought. There's nothing on that text layer (Layer 2). You somehow flattened your text onto Layer 1. You can't move your text independently anymore. Can you remake the image?
