Does anybody here use the curves panel?

I feel that I might be the only person that thinks that the curves panel is too complex and prefer to use the brightness / contrast panel

I use curves, it is more complex, but it allows you to target specific areas and colors where brightness and contrast does not.

Curves a pretty much a stock in trade for me too. I use whatever gets the job done really.

It has more to do with adjusting the individual color channels for overall color balance.

Click the dropdown list and you can choose the red, blue or green channel and adjust each as required.

When you have the Curves adjustment dialog open you can also click on different areas of your image and see where that color range lies on the curve. Very helpful in some instances!
