Hi all.....Photoshop novice in need of help....am working on a patch tool exercise.....am wondering why when i make my selection and drag it over to the area i am trying to cover once i click it into place you can still see the image under the patch but it appears muted and blurred...i do not have transparent selected and am in source mode.....HELP!!

Probably best to provide a example image of your problem and settings.
There can be quite a few reasons for that problem. |

It's probably a case of trying to do too much at one time, have you tried the content aware function in smaller doses?
