I realize technical expertise is required to accomplish this. But can this project be done in Photoshop, or is a CAD program required? Thank you!
25 to 40 black and white (basic) illustrations needed. Payment by PayPal - $60 to $100. The following example is representative of the complexity. Each illustration will be a variation of another.
A - Position a square plane that appears like the top of a table - level to the ground - its size is 50X by 50X - where X is unit of measure
B - Position two spheres B on square plane A so one sphere appears closer than the other - size of each sphere B is 2.5X - distance between spheres B = 20X
C - Position another sphere C to appear as though it is floating 10X distance above square plane A and is 12X distance from the nearest B sphere, as measured from the point 10X distance directly below C sphere - size of this sphere is 0.25X. View of objects A, B, D, E, F is from the perspective C sphere as viewed through line D.
D - Position a line between C sphere and the nearest B sphere.
E - Position a line between the two B spheres.
F - Position a two dimensional, vertically oriented plane 2.5X height and 20X length and attached to the right sides of each B sphere.

That's more of a 3d modeling typing thing, but I can help you out if you still need it.

3D modeling sounds more complex and demanding than my $60 to $100 budget will allow.
I likely will instead go for photoshop type of work from actual pictures, which would be less detailed / exacting than I originally hoped.

Well I'm sure we could give you an idea of what it would look like, but it's not going to be exact hence Photoshop only allows 2d to the most part.. the 3d areas are not very specific
