I woke up to a weird error this morning. I'm running windows 7 and PS version CS. Whenever I open PS, it spins and spins for 10 minutes or more but won't open. Does anyone have a clue what might be happening? I've uninstalled and re-installed and restarted. Same problem. Thanks. _________________ Jeff

Maybe its having trouble loading something like a brush or a script or something? Do you have any custom brushes or actions that you've installed? _________________ http://www.jmerrittphotorestoration.com/ |

I have installed custom brushes yesterday. It was working fine this morning. I had to do a hard reboot this morning and that's when the trouble started. Every other program runs fine except photoshop. _________________ Jeff

I would try to uninstall the brushes as a test to see if it fixes the problem. How were the brushes installed? Was there an installer that did it for you, or did you have to paste the ABR file into the brushes folder? _________________ http://www.jmerrittphotorestoration.com/ |

I only created new brushes and saved the set. Nothing was installed. anyway, I can't bring photoshop up to do anything. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled. _________________ Jeff

Uninstalling photoshop may not remove the brushes folder. Im not really sure...was just trying to offer ideas. I think its found in C:/program files/adobe/ photoshop(version)/ presets/brushes.
I don't really know what else would cause your issue, sorry. _________________ http://www.jmerrittphotorestoration.com/ |
