It appears that only yellow and black are printing out of Photoshop. Photos printed from other apps are fine. Photos manipulated in Photoshop and printed from other apps are yellow and black although they appear fine on screen.

PS CS3
iMac
Epson r380

And...

Brand new Snow Leopard upgrade (this is when the problem stared)

I'm wondering if it's possible that output info could have been changed and embedded withing the pics? I'm not much of a techie when it comes to PS... ;-)

Thanks in advance...

Have a look at these types of setting in print menu for the error.

Yes I've done that. The PS manipulated pics still print yellow from other apps. un-manipulated pics print fine from other apps... it's like something is embedded in the pic itself...

Maybe something wrong with 'Edit > Colour settings' colour profiles?

I don't want to lead you on wild goose chases :)

Ok... tried a few things in color settings... same result... tried saving as .pdf, same result... saved as .pdf with color embedding off... same...

This is too weird...

Can you save it as a JPEG, or something else that isnt using embedded color profiles? Your printer probably isn't capable of embedded scripts.

You know what, I think all of your problems lie with the SnowLeopard upgrade. It seems HP and Epson were hit hard with numerous "incompatibility" issues with SnowLeopard. The good news is, both companies are releasing updated drivers for the the new Mac OS X 10.6. I would download and update your printer drivers before you spend any more time investigating this issue.

All my drivers are current (I'm checking daily) I've been in touch with Apple and Epson to ensure this... no one seems to have seen this exactly before... leave it to me...

I think you can rule out Photoshop as the culprit.
