The retouch you made on the pics were great. Except for the gun in gramy's hand. It made the pics look like a scene from a mafia movie... But anyway, it's a great job! |

That last version you posted is spectacular. While the ones you previously completed were excellent, you honed it to a point where I couldn't even tell that it was photoshopped (except the one with the gun, of course lol). Seriously, this is fantastic. The choice to make the flowers white was also a great choice. It blends in very well. Flowers, in general, are hard to color from photographs.
Either way, great job! _________________ Miriam

but I;m having a hard time with that, everything I tried so far worsen the
picture.
Any tips ? |

I think that you are going to have to clone your way to victory if you want to remove the shadow. Add a curves adjustment layer so you can tell shadow from suit.
On another note, I can see a couple of problem spots in the image. The B&W picture hung above your grandfather is too in focus, it jars with the actual image and its softness. The picture also has no frame, a minor detail but important, people of that generation would have had it framed. The shadow that your grandfather is casting has not been shown in the B&W image, it just stops suddenly. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
