PSCS5 keeps returning Preferences to default.

I have PSCS5 Extended, with Windows 7. I have a weird problem. Every so often (sometimes every day) when I open up the program I find that the preferences have been returned to default settings, so I have to go to the trouble of going through them again. Has anyone any idea how I can correct this? I have tried booting up and pressing ctrl/alt/ shift but all this does is keep the preferences at default.

Happen to me too occasionally, drives me nuts, I know it's gone belly up as soon as it asks me to use Shift to select tools, makes me mad!

I have updated PS and graphic drivers to no avail, I always save a custom workspace but even so....

lol, rant over and no, I'm afraid I don't know of a solution.
