Hi
I'm trying to fade an image into a portrait photo using a mask layer with a linear gradient. Heres how its set up in layers tab
Bridge + mask layer with linear gradient
Portrait layer
I want to make the portrait stand out more but keep the gradient effect on the rest of the photo
Any suggestions? |

Probably move the portrait layer up above the bridge layer and play with blending modes. |

I would use a layer mask and then paint it in heavier where you want it to stand out more and keep adjusting the brush opacity and use portrait layer as your top layer

best way to do it is Layer Masking and Gradient in the Mask
try it..
