Im trying to create a graphic with using the font Augsburger Initials from the following link
http://www.font-zone.com/download.php?fid=1894
But when I use the Type tool the text disapears
I'm on a windows xp
using CS5
can anyone see if this is an issue with photoshop or it only happens on my machine I have tried to simulate it with other fonts but no luck

It may be a much larger font than normal.
Make a very large text box and set the size to small to see if the text is actually there. |

it works with all the other fonts that i have installed no matter how big the size of the font but with this font the text simple disappears as soon as I change the font type.
Does size has anything to do with it? |

I was thinking the font size was too large for the box you made but you say you're seeing it.
What do you mean "change the font type"? |

if i change the font type to something else like Arial the text is visible but as soon as i change it back to Augsburger Initials the text disappears regardless of the font size. i uploaded the font in question i just cant use that font in photoshop or Illustrator at all but in all other programs it works good |

Hi, this is an older post, but I encountered the exact same problem in InDesign. The solution was to purchase the font as it is a restricted one. I bought ours from myfonts.com for $10.00. |
