I'm trying to color and old B & W picture of my mom and grand parent.



This is my first attempt at coloring a photo, it is made from a scan from the photo, i can't get the negative.
the image is not finish but I'm looking foward to critic .

The flowers don't look right to me but the rest looks great, nice job.

This image looks great. The only thing that strikes me as not belonging it the strong halo effect around the man's head. Maybe cloning that part out would really help its authenticity.

Thank for the critic, it is greatly appreciated.
the picture is for my mother, I want the photo to be as close as possible to
perfection(even if perfection is out of this world.

As far as perfection goes, you've pretty much nailed it. Working with an old photo pretty much limits the range of possibilities without spending hours on it. I still see a bit of the halo effect around the man's chin though. Other than that, you're there.

Thank for comment ,this is what I have so far following those coment,
also change my mother face a bit and hair
Only one thing I'd like to fix is lightning the shade behind my grampa, could someone tell me how to get started on that ?
Ps: the gun is only there cause someone told me gramy look's like mobster
