My computer is showing its age and I have decided to replace key components. I'd appreciate suggestions for a new motherboard, processor and graphics card. I want the best I can get to optimise my usage of Photshop and the AV programme Pictures to Exe.
Happy Christmas everyone,

I would say order a new computer (base unit) if you want a new motherboard, processor and GFX card then you may as well go the whole hog. Base stations are cheaper than ever these days and you should be able to pick something decent up for £500 (don't know your location).
Get it custom built, with decent components and you should be able to upgrade when the time comes. As a standard most systems come with a base of 4gig of ram and you should look to pay the extra if needed and get around 8gig. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
