All right, so my "save as" option does not work in Photoshop cs5. When I attempt to use "save as" it automatically saves over my original image. No dialogue box pops up for this either. Anyone have this problem? What do I do?

Did it work properly before? Is this something new?

I just got my copy for school. So this is the first time I've had to save something, but it does this with everything I try and do.

Wow, that's a very weird problem.

Does it happen with every single photo, or just some/one?

What about if you make a new image from scratch, and "Save As" that?

Does not even do this for new items. It's so weird.

Yes, I uses the file save-as function. That's the one that's not working. :/

Ctrl+ALt+Shift whilst opening Photoshop (keep them held) to trash your preferences, that may help.
