I have a white line on a dark background and I would like the white line to have a "sunken" effect. How can I do that please.

I'm using CS version of Photoshop.

Thanks!!

Assuming the white line is on its own layer, try Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss. That's all I can think of.

If it's not on its own layer, you're SOL.

if its just on a single layer, its not that hard. the easiest way to do it is using the magic wand tool on the white line. Depending on how much of the white line you want to drop down, you can use that selection and go to Select > Modify > expand or contract.

make a new layer and paste the copy of the white line on that new layer. Then as Damo said, just the Bevel and Emboss for your blending options for that layer and choose down
