on the net thers a lot of places to download extras for photoshop how do you actually add them for use to photoshop Confused

depends on the file really.. filters go in the folder of filters and plugins into their folder:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Plug-Ins\Filters
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Plug-Ins

thanks for trying but i use adobe photoshop elements 2 i lookd in every area for adding plugins nothing Confused

i did the following saved a font from dafont in the font folder as a zip file one of only two things to save it as nothing happend i tried saveing as a all files type nothing happend i tried to find the files to change them to the correct type they werent ther i redownloaded them and it said i had still got them whats wrong with it Dead

Save your zip file to your desktop or whatever, then use an unzipping program (ex. Winzip), extract your fonts to the C:\WINDOWS\FONTS directory....Then open the C:\WINDOWS\FONTS directory and the fonts will load in....Restart photoshop and they should be available for use.....Of course, this is all assuming you're using a PC w/ Windows rather than a mac or Linux system...
