Elements freezing

I have just bought a Kodak printer and installed the software on my iMac. I am having problems printing small photographs from Photoshop Elements because every time I click on the 'page set-up' button to change the paper size from A4 to a smaller custom size to match the photopaper I have, the entire programme freezes and I have to Force Quit. It prints A4 OK.

Any suggestions?
