Hallo,

I'm using CS4, a couple of days I started having strange problems with the pen tool, I haven't changed any of the settings so I know that isn't the problem.

When I create a new point using the pen tool the entire screen goes black except for certain areas. Now this doesn't happen every time I use it, but 4 out 5 times it does. I've uploaded some screen shots. If anybody could help I'd greatly appreciate it!!

Tomie

This is what happens when I create the first point:

And when I click again, it goes back to normal:

Odd, try deleting the preference file. It's been known to cure wierd PS behavior.

Hold down alt+ctrl+shift when you start PS.

Just tried it and it seems to have worked!!

EDIT:

It only worked for about half an hour, do I need to delete the preference file everytime I start PS? Confused
