|
|
I have a problem of getting rid of the tool that I have used.
For example if I have made a selection with a markee tool and painted a selection with a bucket, then I can get rid of the moving border around a selected area and I cant get rid of the bucket.
Please help. Photoshop is the most nerve racking application I have ever stumbled upon.
Thank you |

Ctrl D will deselect those "marching ants".
The tool thing is a bit hard to get used to, I agree. In most other programs, if you're not doing anything in particular, you just get the regular mouse pointer. Not so in Photoshop - in Photoshop, you ALWAYS have a tool selected.
If it concerns you, my advice is to switch to the Hand tool (shortcut is the H key) when you're not doing anything else. _________________ http://www.damiensymonds.com.au/

As a general point, I find that that not having Shift to select within the tools saves heaps of time, but I take the above point Damo77. _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
