Hi, the client who I have designed this logo for love the concept however are a little concerned about the readability of the design, so I would like to simply ask you if you can tell me what it says?

Welcome to the forums rascald, in truth I share your clients concern. I presume it says 'sri promotions'. The legibility concern comes from the jack, used as an 'i'.
I like the concept though considering the business, perhaps if your client is still not happy with legibility you could try a different tack, the two 'o's' in the word promotions would make a great pair of headphones!

Thanks for your comments, I did think about using the 'o's as headphones however these guys are more Rock than DJ so it never really materialised in to a concept.

If it is meant to say sri, perhaps colouring the tip of the jack may work, I realise it takes away a little from the 'real' feel.

I agree with all the above but I would like to ask you on a side note;
How exactly did you make this?
Did you just use a tablet to draw the jack or what tool did you use? I'm not new to photoshop, I have made logos but never drew things in like that. Just made backgrounds and text effects, so maybe you could help me?
