Hand should be out of focus.

keep the hand in focus but i'd say be sure you pull some of the glow from the orb in in front of the fingers so it has the illusion it's floating over the hand...

It looks pretty good but doesn't really have the effect of the orb being over the hand.

duplicate the orb layer,blend mode multiply,move this layer to top of stack.
