Please Help! Bawling

Recently ive downgraded my laptop from 7 to XP, I Re-installed Photoshop all went well and succesfull with no problems, Until.
I Opened photoshop put my brushes back into the correct places and then as i went to use them i noticed that the curser on brushes over 100px seems to magicly dissapear.
When i zoom out by about 200% the brush cursor re appears again, i know this isnt because of the canvas size as ive tried allmost every configuration, workspace canvas size etc etc but it still doesnt work.
For example if i use a completely round brush at 300 px i can only see the top left part of the brush allmost like 1/4 of a circle and the other half has dissapeared.

I have some Photo's to show you what i mean which will makes things a bit clearer.
Its the actual brush cursor itself as shown in the photo, hence the reason it isnt a screenshot :P

Ive tried allmost everything, ive even re-formatted my computer, uninstalled photoshop and re installed it.
I even re-Downloaded the Trial to see if it was my setup file that was being stupid but still no luck.
IF anyone knows a fix for this stupid problem id be very very greatful.

I had exactly the same problem with my XP desktop computer.
Installing the most current video card driver fixed it for me.
