I'm using CS2. I've just discovered that I'm no longer able to drag layers from the layers pallet to the trash can. As a matter of fact, I can no longer drag channels or paths to the trash, either. I cannot right click a layer to delete it either. I can delete them from the Layer Menu, however. I've been using CS2 fo many years and this is a first. I uninstalled/reinstalled it but nothing has changed. Any ideas? |

It can be a corrupt preferences file.
Exit PS and restart holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shft and and answer yes to deleting the preferences file. |

Thanks for the response. I've tried the ctl/alt/shift at launch and got nothing, no dialog box. I've reinstalled CS2 with no solution. Adobe technical servise seems to think that CS2 is not compatible with Windows 7. I'm running CS2 in Compatibility Mode for Windows Xp on my windows 7 machine. Still trying to figure this out. |
