Hi all,

Well after introducing myself..my second post is a question...sorry Blush

I'm trying to combine two images, the only ways i have found to do this is by adjusting the fill and opacity controls. However...this means that one layer will have to be faded in order for both images to show.

What i want to do is have both layers at 100% and both showing one on top of the other...is this possible?

thx

Try using one of the blending possibilities.. the box in the top left corner of your window with layers, next to opacity. It should indicate 'normal'. Play a bit with them and see if there is something you like. You'll have to do it with your toplayer, otherwise you won't see anything because your toplayer will cover it all.

Hope this helps..

screen and overlay are the two that usually give the best results.

The most versatile (and flexible) way to combine/composite layers I have found is to use Layer Masks. They work independently of other blending effects adding a lot of precision and options to compositing images.
